The iconic red lampshades are originally used by butchers to make their meats look redder. A common sight in markets: cheap, industrial and slightly obnoxious. Gilding the interior with 24k gold leaf adds a hint of glamour that starkly juxtaposes with the plastic exterior. The scallop trim complements the red and gold colour combination, emitting a traditional and nostalgic familiarity.
Comes with a incandescent light bulb and an Ikea HEMMA cord set in your choice of black or white.
